Summer Fun in Las Vegas

When people think Vegas summer a pretty immediate vision comes to mind- blazing heat and debauchery. Are you headed to Vegas this summer and looking to spend your time a different way? Would you believe us if we told you there is a tangible culture here, and a city with a heartbeat behind the flashing lights and glamorized image? Here at Apollo Concepts, we did the investigating for you.

High Roller Observation Wheel

Yes, Vegas has casinos and a lot of them. However, Las Vegas is also home to the world’s largest tallest observation wheel-550 feet above the Las Vegas Strip to be exact. Make it an adventurous daytime excursion with the kids, or a date night event with your significant other. With a 360-degree range, there is simply nothing like this view. Have we not said enough? Well here is an Apollo Concepts pro-tip: if you’re headed to Vegas you must try Yoga on the High Roller. Yogi’s and thrill-seekers alike can join together in sun salutation and downward dog, from 550 in the air. The High Roller truly has something for everyone.

Berlin Wall Urinal

History buff? Las Vegas is home to what is hands down the most obscurely historic casino urinal in America. Whether or not you’re a gambler, you’ve got to head to the Main Street Station Hotel and Casino and straight into the men’s bathroom. The wall behind the urinals is made of pieces from the Berlin Wall, which were saved the day the wall came down and sent around the world. Are you a woman? Don’t fret. Word on the street is curious females can take a peek as well- if accompanied by the bathroom attendant.

The “Giada” Restaurant

The ultimate destination for any food-network snob has finally become a reality. One of the most famous faces from the network, Giada De Laurentiis chose Las Vegas as the home for her only restaurant, sitting at Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo. Go for the culture, go for the pasta, go for Giada, go for us at Apollo Concepts.

Dig This

Here at Apollo Concepts, we have found the ultimate playground for the man-child in your life. Dig This is a “heavy equipment playground” where you can drive bulldozers and excavators around a simulated construction ground to your heart’s content. Children as young as 8 years old are permitted to “play,” and Dig This offers group packages for vacations, birthday parties, family reunions, or even office outings to relieve some latent frustration. Don’t just take our word for it, Dig This is also ranked #1 on Trip Advisor, and their website is flooded with positive reviews.

This is only the tip of the giant iceberg that is Las Vegas, and it is our sincere hope that you find the joy in this city that we have found. From all of us here at Apollo Concepts, we wish you a happy, healthy, and safe summer 2018.
